Bhutan Trek Sample Itinerary

GANTEY-GOGANA TREK

I particularly recommended this moderately difficult trek to natural lovers for the spring, when rhododendron and magnolia are in full bloom. It only reaches an elevation of 3440 meters/11,290 ft. Beginning in the glacial valley of Phobjikha, the famous winter home of the rare Tibetan Black-necked cranes, at an elevation of 3000 meters/9840 ft, it goes through the remote villages of Gogona and Khotokha, ending in the Wangdue Valley at an elevation of 1350 meters / 4430 ft.
